The Wadhwa lab opened its doors in the Department of Physics and the Biodesign Center for Mechanisms of Evolution at Arizona State University in August 2022! We study mechanical interactions between bacterial cells and their environment as well as the intracellular signaling processes that enable bacteria to sense and respond to mechanical stimuli.

We are currently looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join us on a long-term, NIH-funded position. See this poster or visit the Join page to get started. In addition, we are always happy to hear from enthusiastic postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates interested in exploring the intersection of biophysics and microbiology. Visit the Join page for more information.
